Isn't it odd how so much detail can impress itself upon our brains in that short and intense space.

I was in a car accident about 18 years ago and my memories of it are vivid, but incomplete, of course. It's like a picture book which reads well the first time through but on a second go around the gaps in the plot become so much clearer.

I love those white posts, too.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14346897774489967919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23502762.post-78757072895791613842009-03-06T08:58:00.000+11:002009-03-06T08:58:00.000+11:00You poor thing. You get back on that horse though,...You poor thing. You get back on that horse though, won't you. You'll feel rattled for a bit. I rolled my car and it rolled back and I was on a country road and men found me and drove off and came back with four new tyres and I drove home and the farm house I had to find, on dusk, had my sister's best friend there - she's a city girl and looked lost in the country. It was a dream and I actually thought, at one point, I was dead because it seemed all so surreal. I drove on for another two and a half hours and as I turned into my parents' drive started to shake uncontrollably. I did drive again - the car was a tank. It saved my life. I've had other dingles, but it's the one that seemed so weird in that "puppet" way you describe.Kate Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11731006032499344619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23502762.post-88393034480927909002009-03-05T23:54:00.000+11:002009-03-05T23:54:00.000+11:00one day, I will tell you why this post has made me...one day, I will tell you why this post has made me catch me breath...just every single sentence spoke to me...in the meantime, penni, I am just so glad you are safe, you are safe

cars are not awesome, but OMG word verification is:

prose

i shit you not! prose. the interwebs are increasingly spooky, no?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23502762.post-86046662137474068682009-03-05T21:40:00.000+11:002009-03-05T21:40:00.000+11:00oh penni - i am glad you are ok!! yes suse is righ...oh penni - i am glad you are ok!! yes suse is right - you just want to rewind... i've had a couple of crashes myself in the past - not fun.melihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10026675747253438229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23502762.post-38629370577142122152009-03-05T21:20:00.000+11:002009-03-05T21:20:00.000+11:00It's totally unnerving, having a crash.
