I'm very jealous BTW, my prescription glasses pre-date parent hood and don't suit me at all. My stepdad found the frames somewhere. Why do decent frames have to be so ruinously expensive?
Smile you gorgeous thing! Love the frames though and yay for new glasses. They are achingly expensive and I only replaced my last pair as I lost them .. :)
There is a little review of Indigo Girls in our local paper today. Email me your addy and I'll send it to you, along with the book that you left here :-)
I can't smile when I'm taking photos of myself. I feel like a dill.
Dani, I can't believe you've lasted so well - I've had three pairs of classes die at the hands of my children (at this rate it is going to work out cheaper to get laser surgery).
I forked out $400 and got a pair of nicely clever german frames that are 100% flexibale and the arms can snap out of place and click back in. I fifured it was worth it, and it has been. That was 5 years ago, and I've had the lenses replaced once and only recently (I have a "thing" for getting them scratched).
The kids have "busted" them several times and panic, and then we all grin as I snap them back in!
We got a similar pair for Willow, as I knew they'd last the playground. Apparently heaps of teachers and nurses get flexi ones.
Ohh, well aren't you the cool and funky one!
