Oh she is amazing Penni! So so beautiful and sweet and I love the Aussie bird sounds in the background. She really reminds me of Lulu though Una seems a lot older than 2.5. Darling funny girl.
Penni, your dad loved this little clip though we couldn't get the sound quite right. In the 1970s when he was sliding round the slippery pole of promotions in Tas Ed Dept, he practiced various faces interminably other teachers, principles, shopkeepers, 'godly matrons'. These were the women of MT nelson. He also moddled some of our toddlers' faces and mannerisms. AS Una's grandad is looking forward to introducing her to Lucky Jim, a myriad of faces and also showing her his trick of ear wriggling.
ps..I want to know what your mum is referring to with the Mt Nelson woman. We deal with some TERRIBLE women who work from Mt Nelson..in the Vision Impaired Support Service.
That was absolutley gorgeous. I can't believe that your Una Pearl..I still see here as that teeny tiny baby you brought home from hospital and now look at her she is a real little lady. Just percious. Thank You so much for sharing..I love the second sad face, just amazing. She is definitley following in the footsteps of her mother and big sister.
Traceyleigh "godly matrons" was a euphemism for my Mount Nelson friends. In early 1970s Bob and I attended a wedding where the minister called on the bride to only associate with "godly matrons". I think it was the same week Tasmanian bookshops started selling "The Female Eunuch". Anway the said godly matrons got me through many good times and bad when Kylie and Penni were of an age with Fred and Una. I do think however I have a little knowledge of the lattergroup you mentioned but they are not the ones Bob parodied.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
